NDSM Werf(t) is a program that connects residents of Amsterdam North with local entrepreneurs. The goal is to create opportunities for people who do not always find their way easily to work or education, while at the same time supporting entrepreneurs in discovering new talent from their own neighborhood.
The program concluded with a closing event that brought together participants, trainers and business owners to reflect on the process and the connections that were made.

Throughout NDSM Werf(t), participants explored different ways of learning and working through trial days, work experience placements and tailored learning paths. Alongside this, they followed practical training sessions including hospitality skills, barista training, personal development and CV and application workshops.
Local businesses such as Kometenbrood, Bakkerij Solinger, Carrollās, De Pizzabakkers, Cannibale Royale, Bello Gioās, Beatzone, Ballin Fit, De Lokatie, Door Open Space, Triple C, De Amsterdamse Mediafabriek, The James Company, Winclove and Copain contributed to the program by opening their doors and sharing their expertise.

The closing event marked a moment to exchange experiences and celebrate the steps taken. For participants, NDSM Werf(t) offered space to build confidence, gain experience and discover new directions. For entrepreneurs, it created meaningful connections and insight into inclusive ways of working together within Amsterdam North.
We would like to thank Gemeente Amsterdam, Regio Deal ZaanIJ and the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, as well as all participants, trainers and local businesses, for their contribution and commitment to this program.
